Therapy Services
Individual Therapy for Adults
Individual therapy can help you relate to yourself with compassion and authenticity, enhancing trust in yourself and your ability to navigate life’s challenges. I often work with clients who identify with being “hard on themselves.” If you relate to feeling self-critical, anxious, and uncomfortable expressing your needs, I see you.
Couples Therapy
Couples therapy focuses on understanding the way a relationship is functioning, building healthy and clear communication, and growing as individuals and together. I offer therapy to couples in any stage of their relationship. If you want to show up in a connected, values-driven way and are not sure how to get there, I’m here for you.
Family Therapy for Parent & Adult Child
Family Therapy for a parent and adult child can help you repair, hold space, and change patterns of interaction. When there is a relationship with so much depth, it can be challenging to navigate conflict or address issues that have been present but unspoken. If you relate to the experience of “missing each other” and not feeling heard, I’d be honored to support you.
Individual Therapy for Teens
As noted, individual therapy focuses on building healthier connection to yourself and the people in your life. I often work with clients who struggle to trust themselves and their worth. If you or your child resonates with perfectionism, the sense of “not enough-ness,” and feeling anxious, let’s talk.
Expressive Arts Based Therapy
Expressive arts based therapy can help you deepen your understanding of yourself, build coping tools, and communicate your needs. Through visual arts such as drawing, painting, and collage, clients can process and regulate emotions. This therapy can be utilized in collaboration with talk therapy, EMDR, and other types of services. If you are interested in a somatic approach to navigating anxiety, trauma, or disordered eating, let’s explore this option for you.
Clinical Training and Consultation
I offer customized education, guidance, and training on topics including but not limited to, Eating Disorder Assessment and Treatment, Clinical Practice with the LGBTQ+ Community, and Supporting Parents of LGBTQ+ Youth. Whether you’re reaching out on behalf of a business, organization, school, club, or university, we can work together to create more caring, embracing, and resilient spaces.
Testimonial:
“Thank you so much Emily for your presentation. [I] learned so much from misconceptions and seeing how you model that dialectical relationship between the struggle of the ED and [the] strength and resources of the client. So valuable!”
